The challenge
A multi-site service business coordinated customer requests, staff assignments, scheduled work and job completion through spreadsheets, email and messaging. Office staff allocated work and chased updates manually, while field teams lacked a consistent view of current jobs.
Customer communication and invoicing depended on updates from delivery, and coordination became harder as the business grew.
What we built
We built an operations platform with a central database for customers, requests, jobs, schedules and staff assignments. An internal management interface supported allocation and progress tracking.
A mobile-friendly interface gave field teams their tasks, customer requirements and location details, and let them record updates. Assignment rules considered location, availability, job type and operational constraints.
Job changes triggered relevant notifications, customer updates or internal tasks. Completed work could pass to accounting for invoicing. Dashboards showed workload, completion, issues and capacity, supported by permissions, change history and exception handling.
Business value
The platform brought office, field and management workflows into one application tailored to how the company operates.
